Overview

Livingston Apostolic Worship Center is a vibrant, faith-based community located in Livingston, California. With a growing congregation and a strong emphasis on outreach, worship, and discipleship, LAWC needed a digital presence that could serve both as a welcoming front door for visitors and a centralized hub for members. They partnered with HoopPixel Corp. to build a modern, accessible, and content-rich website that reflects the center’s apostolic mission while streamlining internal communication and event management.

The previous website was static, difficult to update, and lacked mobile responsiveness. HoopPixel delivered a full-featured platform that includes sermon archives, live streaming integration, online giving, small group signups, and a church calendar.

Design Approach

HoopPixel Corp. designed a serene, spiritually uplifting visual identity for LAWC. The primary color palette draws from the church’s existing branding: deep royal blue (representing apostolic heritage), warm gold for accents (the glory of God), and soft dove gray for backgrounds. Typography uses Lora (serif, for scripture quotes and headings) and Open Sans (sans-serif, for body text and UI for readability).

The hero section features rotating background videos of worship moments, baptisms, and community service. A prominent “Plan Your Visit” button greets first-time guests with a step-by-step guide (parking, dress code, children’s check-in). The overall layout is spacious, with generous padding and high-contrast text for accessibility.

Mobile navigation uses a hamburger menu, but key actions (Watch Live, Give, Prayer Request) are exposed as persistent floating action buttons.
